Shane O’Brien

Shane is a strategic senior finance leader with over 15 years’ experience across financial management, accounting operations and strategic planning. He has been Head of Finance for ABM Ireland since 2008, with responsibility for financial strategy, governance, reporting and control across the organisation.

Following ABM’s acquisition of LMC, Shane also holds finance responsibility for LMC,providing group-level financial oversight and supporting the alignment of finance processes, systems and governance standards to ensure transparency,audit readiness and strong commercial control.

He has a strong track record in strengthening internal controls, improving financial performance and delivering data-driven insight to support operational and commercial decision-making. Shane has completed ACCA Professional exams and holds a Professional Diploma in Change Management from UCD Professional Academy, working closely with operational teams and stakeholders to drive efficiency, compliance and sustainable financial performance.
